- Lakewood has been known as a high property tax city but at 2.24% is now about average for the county
- Bay Village (2.38%), North Olmsted (2.37%) and Fairview Park (2.31%) are above average. Rocky River (1.93%) is below average.
- If you wanted to enjoy the lowest property tax rates in Northeast Ohio, you'd probably live in Elyria in the Keystone local school district (1.35%) or Medina in the Buckeye (1.18%) or Cloverleaf (1.12%) school district!
